A pharmacist is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to work with patients, doctors and insurance companies, and to provide comprehensive treatment.

Q: Will AllyScripts replace the medical care I'm receiving from my doctor?

A: No, AllyScripts is an extension of your medical team that works closely with your doctor and pharmacist to help ensure you get the best results from your specialized medications. As part of your healthcare team, AllyScripts will alert your doctor of any medication doses you may have missed throughout therapy. AllyScripts' top priority is to make sure your treatment is successful.


Q: How do I fill a prescription for a specialty medication for the first time?

A: In most cases, your doctor or local community pharmacy will contact us to request your new specialty pharmacy prescription. AllyScripts will then contact you directly to gather any additional information needed, including scheduling delivery to the most convenient location for you, whether it is your home, doctor’s office or your pharmacy.


Q. How long does it take to get my medications when I use home delivery?

A: Orders are shipped for delivery based upon your as needed date, therapy and doctor’s orders. AllyScripts will work with you to schedule delivery- to your local independent pharmacy, home, physician’s office or other location of your choice. Refills are scheduled with you based upon your treatment plan.


Q: What insurance plans does AllyScripts accept?

A: AllyScripts is a provider for most major prescriptions plans as well as local, regional and specialty plans including several Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs).


Q: How do I know if my specialty medications are covered by insurance?

A: AllyScripts will handle this process for you by coordinating with your insurance company and your

doctor. Many specialty drugs require prior authorization which means that the insurance company needs documentation before they will cover a high-cost drug. AllyScripts will notify you as soon as possible about the result of this process.
